Will Smith & Jada Pinkett Smith Become Part Owners Of The Philadelphia 76ers!
Will Smith and wife Jada Pinkett Smith just became the next entertainers to own a professional sport team. He went back home to Philly to buy a percentage of the Philadelphia 76ers.
The Smiths just made a major move in the sports world. Will became the 4th major recording artist, along with his wife Jada, to own part of an NBA team.
The dad of 3 is part of an investment group, headed by multi-billionaire Joshua Harris, who made the major purchase and was unanimously approved by the NBA Board of Governors.
“My partners and I are thrilled to have become owners of the Sixers,” Joshua Harris said in a statement. ”It is an honor to become part of this storied franchise. We have a lot of work to do, but we have a rich history, a strong foundation and a bright future.”
The Smiths join the likes of Usher (Cleveland Cavs), Nelly (Charlotte Bobcats), and Jay-Z (New Jersey Nets).

Will & Jada Deny Split Rumors!
After the web run a muck with rumors of black Hollywood’s favorite couple calling it quits, Will and Jada themselves have debunked the rumors through their reps.
A joint statement read:
‘Although we are reluctant to respond to these types of press reports, the rumors circulating about our relationship are completely false. We are still together, and our marriage is intact.’
An in a surprising twist Jada released a separate statement that denies an affair with her HawthoRNe co-star and JLo’s soon-to-be ex-husband Marc Anthony….?!?!
The statement read:
‘All the rumors regarding Marc Anthony and Jada are false. Completely untrue. As for [the reports of a split between] Will and Jada, I’m not commenting on their personal life.’
Marc Anthony??? And we’re thinking it’s the swinging that did them in. For now and hopefully for a long time, Will and Jada are holding it together.

WILL SMITH HELPS REPLACE STOLEN COMPUTERS
Will Smith is donating replacements for 30 stolen computers to a high school in West Philadelphia, where he was born and raised. The Will and Jada Smith Family Foundation and the Charlie Mack Cares philanthropic organizations are giving 29 Apple laptops and one desktop to West Philadelphia High School.

Jay-Z & Will Smith Starts New Joint Film Venture!
Jay-Z and Will Smith have joined together to for a brand new venture that includes producing and directing films. Smith’s Overbrook Entertainment company and Mr. Carter will team up to release their first major film project, a remake of the classic Annie with confirmed reports of Willow Smith starring in the film. Overbrook is run by Will & Jada Pinkett-Smith along with partners Ken Stovitz and James Lassiter that also worked with Jay-Z to produced the Broadway musical Fela!.
Says Jay-Z:
“The Overbrook Entertainment family and I have a unified vision. We’ve already produced a Tony Award-winning play and we’re developing a true superstar in Willow,” said Jay-Z in a statement. “This venture into film development and production is a perfect next step with teams that are accomplished, creative, and innovative.”

Will Smith’s Condo While Filming Men In Black III!
Housingwatch.com has reported that Will Smith is renting a 7,326 sqft, fourth-floor condo in New York while filming Men in Black III. The five-bedroom, 6.5 baths at 25 Bond St., in NoHo is the entire fourth floor of the eight floor building with only nine units. The unit has two balconies and 4 fireplaces. The rent supposedly is $55,000 per month.
