High school pranks are usually a sign that the school year is a coming to a close. However, one prank went from harmless to scary real fast for school officials first but now for the student accused of pulling the prank.
Tyell Morton ,a senior at Rushville High in Indiana, said he thought it would be funny to put a blow up doll in a girl’s bathroom at his school. But the act was caught on the school’s security cameras.
Video shows a man dressed in a hooded sweatshirt wearing latex gloves and concealing a package. But then leaves the bathroom without it.
School officials thought a bomb was in that package and evacuated the whole school while they called in the Indiana State Police Bomb Squad.
When it was discovered that it was Tyell who pulled the prank, he was arrested and now faces criminal charges.
Tyell will not be allowed to attend his graduation and is banned from campus.
If convicted, he could face up to eight years in prison.
New York Jets wide receiver Braylon Edwards, “promised 100 Cleveland high school students that he would pay for their college tuition—a total value of $1 million—if they maintained grade point averages at 2.5 or higher and performed 15 hours of community service.” The students held up their end of the bargain and now Edwards is living up to his!
“As the 2nd most hated man in Clev & a man of my word, today I will honor a promise made to 100 students in Cleveland years ago,” Edwards tweeted. “The last of my Advance 100 students will graduate from my program and head off to college on scholarships that I will provide them with. Guys, enjoy and embrace your new beginnings and remember your promise to me, to reach back & help someone else along the way.”

A new bill has passed in the House of Representatives that bans clothing that is worn sagging in the state of Florida.
Introduced by Rep. Hazelle Rogers (D-Lauderhill, Florida) the bill was passed unanimously by the committee.
“This pro-family, pro-education, pro-jobs bill provides each school district … adopt a student dress code of conduct, a policy that explains to each student their responsibility,” Rep. Rogers said. “This would make for a better school district and more productive students.”
The bill doesn’t say the word “sag” in it, but clothing that “exposes the underwear or body parts in an indecent or vulgar manner,” is pretty much saying the same thing.
If students are caught breaking the new clothing bill, they can be excused from extracurricular activities and even be given an in-school suspension.
The sagging pants trend is thought to originated in the prison system, “where belts are not issued because they may be used to commit suicide or used as weapons.”
The local branch of the NAACP in Florida has condemned the bill, claiming that black youth will be targeted.
