“The Rogue: Searching for the Real Sarah Palin,” Joe McGinniss’ new book alleges that Sarah Palin had an affair with basketball player Glenn Rice in 1987 when he was a freshman in college and she a young sports reporter! The hook-up allegedly occurred only one year before she was married. The book will be published on September 20, 2011.
Rice went on to lead Michigan to the title in 1989, and then had a very productive NBA career (he was a phenomenal shooter). He wound up marrying the gorgeous Christina Rice, but that fell apart when he found a man she was having an affair with in the closet of a house they used to share together. Rice beat the crap out of the guy (the man needed nine stitches).
Rice confirmed the story to McGinniss.
36-year old Jeremy Hoven is suing a Walgreens store in Michigan after he was fired one week after he says he was praised for shooting at two armed robbers who came into his store at 4:30AM this past Mother’s Day and took the floor manager hostage.

Jalen Rose has been sentenced to 20 days in jail after being arrested for drunk driving in Oakland County. The former NBA star was arrested on March 11, after a breathalyzer test revealed his blood alcohol level to be 0.12. Jalen plead guilty to the charges and is scheduled to report to Oakland County Jail on August 2nd!
Standing beside his attorney, Rose pleaded guilty in district court in Bloomfield Hills to operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated.
He faces up to 93 days in a jail, a $500 fine and court costs when he’s sentenced July 27.
Rose was arrested March 11 in neighboring West Bloomfield Township. Despite what an officer described as an odor of intoxicants on Rose’s breath and slightly blood shot eyes, Rose told police that night he didn’t have a drink and that he doesn’t drink.
However, the story was different one before Judge Kimberly Small, who asked Rose how many drinks he had leading up to the crash.
“I’m embarrassed to say I had six drinks that evening.”
News recently broke that the 38-year-old former NBA player was arrested for DUI after flipping his SUV. That incident actually happened on March 11, and Rose just recently informed his employers. As a result, ESPN is stripping Rose of his on-air duties until further notice.
“Jalen has accepted full responsibility for his actions. Both parties are taking this very seriously, and as a result, we’ve agreed that he will not be on our air while he addresses this situation,” says ESPN spokesperson Josh Krulewitz
Rose, who recently jumped into the media spotlight after a fuss was made over comments he stated about Duke players on the recently premiered Fab Five documentary, issued a statement apologizing for his actions earlier this week:
“On March 11th, I was driving to my home when I was involved in a single vehicle automobile accident. I voluntarily submitted to blood alcohol screening because I was confident it was safe for me to drive. Although I was not feeling impaired, the results of these tests indicate that my blood alcohol level was above the legal limit. I regret the decision to drive home that evening and am grateful that no one was hurt in the accident. I apologize to my family, my employer and each and every one of my supporters for my lapse in judgment. I am particularly sorry for disappointing those who trust me to serve as a role model for young people. I accept full responsibility for my actions and look forward to a resolution of the legal matter as soon as possible.”
Rose is scheduled to appear in court on April 20.
