Ashton Kutcher is Winning with replacing Charlie Sheen on ‘Two and a Half Men‘
According to TMZ, Ashton will replace Charlie Sheen on the hit sitcom. The Hollywood Reporter is reporting that in an interview with TMZ Charlie has said that he thinks that Kutcher is funny but so is he “Kutcher is a sweetheart and a brilliant comedic performer … Oh wait, so am I!!” Charlie also went on to say ”Enjoy the show America. Enjoy seeing a 2.0 in the demo every Monday, WB.”
Ashton Kutcher has recognized that he could never replace Charlie Sheen he could only “work my ass off to entertain the hell out of people!” CBS originally approached Hugh Grant to take the part; but he declined. Chuck Lorre and CBS worked quickly to get the slot filled, he says that they are not replacing Kutcher to play Charlie’s character rather they are introducing someone new.
Charlie Sheen delivered the ultimate back-handed compliment to Ashton Kutcher, telling TMZ he’s talented but the show will tank.
Charlie tells TMZ, “Kutcher is a sweetheart and a brilliant comedic performer … Oh wait, so am I!!”
Charlie continues, taking a shot at the show, saying, “Enjoy the show America. Enjoy seeing a 2.0 in the demo every Monday, WB.” Essentially, Charlie is saying the age group that supported him is going to tune out.
Charlie adds, “Enjoy planet Chuck, Ashton. There is no air, laughter, loyalty, or love there.
