   ok everyone said this scene was too graphic, even for HBO- what’s the big deal?!!!
   i will say that the sex look pretty real, but that’s credit to both Jason & Emilia. I don’t think any sex scene is easy to film, let alone a rape scene- but the actors did a good job nevertheless. The added soundtrack of “No Diggity” gave the scene a cheap, porno vibe. Also the video ended w/ what looks to be a smile/smirk on Emilia’s face! Anyway-in the book the sex is consensual; but was altered to rape for added explicit content for the show. Inspite of his raping of Dany, Drogo was attracted & cared for his wife, if not then lusted for Dany from the moment he laid eyes on her. Rape & the treatment of women as objects, was apart of his culture. This is a way of life which Dany soon became familiar with. In their next sex scene Dany takes charge of Drogo in bed by riding him; therefore teaching him to value her as an equal in their marriage. In conclusion, the characters “Dany & Drogo” stated off w/ a rough start but ended up actually loving each other dearly.
