A popular New York DJ was pronounced dead this morning from a single gunshot wound to the stomach.
The New York Daily News confirms that DJ Megatron was shot and killed early Sunday in Staten Island, New York.
Keith Robinson who identified himself as Megatron’s father-in-law, told the publication that his family was distraught.
“He was a good person,” Robinson said, visibly upset, “Everyone’s just shocked.”
Witnesses report that they heard single gun shot around 2 .am. this morning in the Clifton section of the town.
Megatron was a regular on BET’s ‘106 and Park‘ and New York radio station Hot 97.
