“Basketball Wives” star Evelyn Lozada claims she was stabbed in the back by producers and wants to leave the show for good.
TMZ reports that sources close to the reality star say that Evelyn feels violated by produces who allegedly divulged sensitive information about an “illicit relationship” she had in the past. According to the source, Evelyn thinks the producers leaked the information to a female cast member in order to incite a violent confrontation between the two women on the show.
Evelyn reportedly fired off an email to producers Monday night saying she wants to leave the show for good. Deuces!!!
And the drama continues.
Royce Reed, mother to Dwight Howard’s young son, is expected to be a cast member of Basketball Wives Season 3 — thanks to Miami Heat’s Chris Bosh.
Basketball Wives were allegedly in talks with Allison Mathis, mother to Chris Bosh’s daughter, to replace Royce Reed. However, Bosh took cues from Dwight Howard and pursued legal action to prevent his name and their child’s name and image from being used on the show according to TMZ sports.
Royce Reed confirmed she is still a cast member in a recent interview with Richmond’s 92.1. despite Shaunie O’Neal’s interview with the Los Angeles Times in which she said Reed has “almost no connection” with the show.
Basketball Wives doesn’t look like it’s leaving the airwaves anytime soon. According to VH1, the show’s season finale (in which Jackie Christie, the wife of former Magic player Doug Christie, made an appearance) attracted a record 2.3 million viewers and was the highest rated telecast on the network since the 2009 Hip Hop Honors.
Question is, is there enough drama left for more seasons?
Yup, Just Wait Til The Reunion!
