Well Hoopz, it was FUN while it lasted. MediaTakeOut.com learned that NBA superstar Shaquille O’Neal ABRUPTLY CALLED OFF his engagement with reality star Hoopz.
The couple had been together for nearly 8 months, and seemed to be VERY MUCH in love.
An insider told MediaTakeOut.com,”I don’t know what happened, but I know that Shaq is upset . . . he got his ring back.”
Well on one and we’re sad about it. On the other hand Shaq . . . you just DODGED A BULLET!!!

LL Cool J Snubbed By The Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame!
The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame has announced their new inductees for this year.
Among the honored musicians to be granted entry are Neil Diamond, Darlene Love, and Alice Cooper.
Not making quite making the cut are nominees Bon Jovi and LL Cool J who’s been snubbed for a second time in a row.
LL’s second snub is leaving some to question to the integrity of the Rock Hall of Fame.
The Hip-Hop pioneer has 8 platinum selling albums and 10 No. 1′s under his belt since 1985.
While his recent invovlement has been more-so in the film industry, that is not to undermine his deserving legacy.
Perhaps Todd Smith will have better luck next year.
The honors are set to take place at the Waldorf-Astoria hotel in New York City on March 14th.

The cover shoot took place in Los Angeles, which is where 50 is currently based since he’s gotten more involved with acting and producing movies for his production company Cheetah Vision. He’s already started filming The Set Up with where he stars opposite Bruce Willis. And it’s the first of a 10-picture deal backed by a $200 million fund financed by the New York City-based Hedge Fund Film Partners. Nice.
Rap star 50 Cent has continued to add to his entrepreneurship by investing in a new company that creates “digital performance eyewear.”
According to FastCompany.com, 50′s latest business deal involves an optical eyeglass company named Gunnar Optiks.
The rapper’s investment in Gunnar Optiks comes is hoped to spark the sale of 3D glasses and televisions, which has not been selling as much as some analysts predicted.
The company also specializes in making sharper images that help reduce eye irritation and headaches that some may experience while using 3D equipment.
You can buy the company’s stylish 3D eye wear which will be retailed between $70-$200, like the rest of the entire collection.
FastCompany has also said that 50 Cent also has a say in the business direction of Gunnar Optiks as well as being an investor. 50 became involved with Gunnar after turning down an endorsement deal, in favor of a stake in the company.

Chrisette Michele & Def Jam Is Being Sued For $20 Million!
A lawsuit against Chrisette Michele and her label Def Jam is moving forward, after rejecting Def Jam’s request to dismiss the suit.
Production company Four Kings Production Inc. is suing the songstress for $20 million, claiming the singer engaged in unlawful activity to try to get out of her contract with the entity.
The company’s CEO Douglas “Biggs” Elison is filing the charges against Chrisette Michele, Island Def Jam, A&T Shalik Berry and the singer’s parents Lynette and Lemuel Payne.
It seems Chrisette initiated the suit herself in 2007 when she filed a lawsuit against Four Kings Productions, claiming Biggs was embezzling money from the singer’s Def Jam contract and harassed her.
Despite Michele dropping the suit, Biggs is now stating that his credibility was tainted and he suffered damages when the news went public.
“As soon as the artist’s mother saw that Chrisette was receiving money, all a direct result of the efforts of the production company under its contracts with the artist, Lynette Payne quit her job as a teacher and, in willful disregard of the artist’s contractual obligations to Four Kings, usurped management functions regarding her daughter’s newly found success, in an effort to keep the money in the family,” Ellison stated in the lawsuit.
Her publicist Rochelle Brown thinks otherwise, sharing that the ordeal was sparked from a romantic mis-hap.
“This is just a case of the jilted lover and gold digging manager getting caught,” Brown told Allhiphop in a 2008 interview. “The Payne’s and Mr. Berry did not unlawfully try to get Chrisette out of her contract with Four Kings. Mr. Ellison’s devious plot to exploit and rip Chrisette off began to be revealed.”

Waka Flocka’s House Raided For Possible Prostitution & Gucci Mane Gets Detained!
Police are on the hunt for Atlanta rapper Waka Flocka Flame after raiding his Henry County home.
TMZ reports that authorities raided his property this morning and handcuffed fellow Brick Squad rapper Gucci Mane.
According to law enforcement sources, cops are investigating possible prostitution after finding marijuana and weapons.
Waka’s mom Debra Antney tells TMZ cops are also looking for evidence of gangs and drugs.
Antney also says that if he doesn’t show up soon, cops will issue an arrest warrant.
Flame has been actively tweeting about the incident and told his fans online that he was in court when police showed up to his door.
“THE FOLKS JUST KICK MY DOOR N GOOD THING I LEFT FOR COURT LOL… N THEY FUCK MY WHOLE HOUSE UP TALKING BOUT THEY GOT A TIP …… HELLO I F*CKING RAP …. NEXT TIME (PO PO) GET A BETTER TIP.
He also adds,

DMX Headed Back To Jail For 1 Year!
Bad news in for the holidays for rapper DMX – who was ordered to return to an Arizona jail for one year due to charges stemming from his arrest on November 18th for violating his probation. X will have to report to the infamous Tent City Jail in Arizona to serve his time. He has already gone on record saying that he dislikes it because of how they treat inmates. THIS REALLY SUCKS MAN!
