Tupac Shakur’s mother has been charged with drug possession. Afeni Shakur, who oversees her slain son’s estate, was arrested on 16 April (10) in North Carolina. In addition to felony possession of marijuana, Shakur has also been charged with maintaining a vehicle, dwelling or place for a controlled substance. The 63 year old was released on $10,000 bail and is scheduled to appear in Robeson County District Court on 10 May (10).
