President Barack Obama plans to donate the $1.4 million from his Nobel Peace Prize to helping students,
veterans’ families and survivors of Haiti’s earthquake, among others, drawing attention to organizations he
said “do extraordinary work.”Obama is giving a total of $750,000 to six groups that help kids go to college.
A settlement has been reached in the ongoing divorce of Cleveland Cavaliers center Shaquille O’Neal and his
estranged wife Shaunie. According to Shaunie’s lawyer, the two have agreed on all terms of the divorce,
including property, custody and support. Under the terms, Florida courts will have jurisdiction to officially
divorce the couple.

the terms of his probation by using drugs. The artist, real name Earl Simmons, admitted to using illegal drugs
over the last nine months, including cocaine.
The megachain Wal-Mart acknowledged today that it’s selling ethnic Barbie dolls for about half of what it
charges for Caucasian Barbies. The store was forced into the admission after a Louisiana-based shopper posted
a photo of the diverse dolls and their respective pricetags side by side in a Wal-Mart.
A man was arrested in Ames, Iowa after breaking into a church to watch porn.
The 55-year old man was charged with second-degree burglary after he broke into a church and allegedly used the institution’s electronic equipment to watch pornography.
Police allege the unidentified man broke into the First Christian Church on Thursday (March 4), and after gathering items from around the building, it is believed that he then proceeded to the basement to spend the night.
Police were called to the church on Friday (March 5) by staff who discovered the man trying to haul away a garbage can filled with food, kitchen utensils, clothes, electronic equipment and a 26-inch flat-screen television.
After searching the man and the items, police found pornographic movies that according to Police Cmdr. Mike Brennan,
“The man watched using the electronic equipment from the church.”
The man is being held at the Story County Jail on a $10,000 bond.

in emerging in the case of Aswad Ayinde, the New Jersey man accused of raping five of his daughters and impregnating three of them with his children.
Police have confirmed that Ayinde is actually a critically acclaimed video director who snagged an MTV award in 2002 for his direction of the Fugees’ “Killing Me Softly.”
The madman will stand trial five times, once for each daughter police he say raped, beat and impregnated at least six times.
According to the Associated Press, the ex-wife of the 51-year-old man appeared in court and testified against him in a pre-trial saying that he wanted to create “pure” family bloodlines by impregnating several of his teenage daughters.
She testified against him saying,
“He said the world was going to end and it was just going to be him and his offspring and that he was chosen.”
Prosecutors say the man beat the girls, who were isolated from the outside world and home schooled, with wooden boards and steel-toed boots.
The three daughters he impregnated gave birth to a total of six children.
The AP also reports that the mother testified in court that some of the babies were delivered at home and never received birth certificates. She also said there were at least two instances where the babies who died in the home were buried without authorities being notified.
When asked why she didn’t try to stop him, the wife said,
“I was afraid to ever accuse him of being demented, or being a pedophile. I knew the word but I wouldn’t dare use it because it would result in a beating.”
Ayinde faces charges of aggravated sexual assault, sexual assault, lewdness, child endangerment, aggravated criminal sexual contact and criminal sexual contact.
He was originally arrested in 2006 for the crimes.
The first trial for the man is scheduled to begin in April.
