Alicia Keys: Engaged?
She celebrated her 29th birthday earlier this week, and rumor has it Alicia Keys got an engagement ring from her boyfriend.
The “Fallin” songstress has been dating Swizz Beatz for awhile now, and it looks like they’re taking their relationship to the next level.
A friend told press, “They are currently in Hawaii celebrating their engagement and her birthday. She feels blessed.”
The source continued, “She is thrilled. She is with the man who has inspired so much of her music and her new album [The Element of Freedom].” Of course a rep for Keys has denied the engagement.
Kanye West, Amber Rose & Ciara Were Spotted @ The Givenchy Haute-Couture Runway Show…
Hitting up yet another high-end fashion show, Kanye West and Amber Rose were spotted at the Givenchy Haute-Couture runway show yesterday (January 26) in Paris, France.
Joined by fellow celebrity Ciara, the dynamic duo sat front row as they peeped the latest looks as part of Paris Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2010.
Perhaps Kanye is trying to rid his mind of the fact that he wasn’t allowed to be part of last week’s Hope for Haiti telethon.
Though an MTV source said they reached out to the “Love Lockdown” rapper, it seems odd that he would have refused to participate. Sounds like real story is that ‘Ye never got asked.
14 Year Old Boy Admits To Killing Parents To Avoid Doing Chores…
(Jan. 26) — It’s not uncommon for a teenager to go to extreme measures to avoid having to do chores: Television and the Internet are far more appealing than taking out the trash and loading the dishwasher.
Nonetheless, most kids slog through it, if only for the sake of getting their parents off their backs. That, however, was not the case with a Colorado teen who police say fatally shot his mother and stepfather to get out of doing his household duties.
The 14-year-old boy, John Caudle, has been charged as an adult with two counts of murder. He is being held at a youth center and is due in court next week.
The case began in late October, when Park County deputies stopped a pickup truck in Fairplay. The driver, Caudle, was too young to drive, so police attempted to find his parents, who he said lived about 130 miles away near the city of Monte Vista. The boy said he was going to visit his uncle.
When the patrol officer contacted authorities near the boy’s home, he was told that police were already at the house, which was being treated as a crime scene. Earlier that day, a relative had found the bodies of the boy’s mother and stepfather, Joanne Rinebarger, 34, and Tracy Rinebarger, 38, on the bedroom floor.
According to the arrest affidavit, Caudle told police that he had an argument with his mother at home on Oct. 26. Afterward, he allegedly took two .22-caliber pistols from a gun safe and shot her dead with one of them. He then hid in a laundry room and allegedly shot his stepfather when he walked by.
“Caudle said the reason he shot Joanne Rinebarger was because he did not want to do household chores,” the affidavit read.
After the shootings, police say, Caudle spent the rest of his day watching movies and playing on a computer. The next morning he took his stepfather’s truck and drove to school. When questioned, Caudle’s teachers told investigators he seemed “happy” that day.

Jersey Shore fans soon may be getting an eyeful of the “wow” in Jwoww! Naked photos of Jwoww are being shopped to several media outlets. Jwoww, real name Jenni Farley, has been one of the breakout stars on MTV’s surprise hit Jersey Shore. She’s making personal appearances and also has started a clothing line featuring cleavage-showing tops.
But the photos of Jwoww being shopped leave NOTHING to the imagination.
There are at least three photos of Jwoww. In one photo, she is facing the camera, topless. It’s shot from the waist up and will certainly not disappoint her male fans.
A second photo shows Jwoww slightly turned, but with her back mainly toward the camera. She is wearing a skimpy wrap around her waist but that does not obscure the rear view! She’s also wearing boots.
The third photo is a full length topless frontal shot, where Jwoww is again wearing a small wrap around her waist and boots. The pics are shot with moody lighting against a brownish background.
WTF: Game’s Anti-School Message: What Do We Need School For?
“After you learned how to read & do addition, what else did we need school for that we use in everyday life as an adult?” Before even getting into this story, let’s all sit back and marinate on such a thought-provoking question. I’m sure if we extracted the idea of subtraction and division and only embraced multiplication, dwindling funds would never be a problem, would it? Out of mind, out of sight.
Whatever the case may be, while Game had some time away from his fourth album, The R.E.D. Album, the rapper reflected on and even questioned the relevance of the school system overall , over Twitter, once children become adults and enter the real world.

Drake On His Loyalty To Lil Wayne
Drake has opened up about his loyalty to Lil Wayne and why he decided to align himself with Young Money instead of other record labels last year.
According to Drizzy, his admiration and respect for Wayne goes unmatched.
“Everyone seems to have a comment for me about Young Money, ‘F*ck Young Money’ or ‘Why are you with them?’ But what people have to understand is maybe there was a way for me to be successful without Young Money. But we’ll never know. My loyalty is to Wayne, and that goes for anybody who genuinely believes in me. We don’t have the most personal relationship where we hang out every day or we talk that much, but Wayne’s admiration and respect goes without being verbally said. He put his neck out there for me at a very early stage, and those actions tell me everything I need to know about how he feels about me as an artist.” (Complex)
The Canadian-based emcee recently spoke on Wayne’s leadershp with Young Money.
“I think the best thing about Wayne is that he doesn’t really get too involved in us developing as artists,” Drake said about him. “He doesn’t give his input on how we should be, or how we should rap, or how we should dress. Wayne just gives us the opportunity. If you drop the ball, you drop the ball. But Wayne’s gonna give you the set-up. The money is relative to him. People say “oh it doesn’t take that much”, you don’t know how much tuition is. You don’t know what the lifestyle is everyday. Our children (Thank God!!!) are able to have different extracurricular activities, they have tutors, they have programs that they are in. They have to have security which is very expensive on a weekly basis. There are alot of things that people don’t take in consideration that this money goes to. We don’t sit and get a check and throw it up in the air and say “yea what am I going to do with this today”.
What wasn’t going to happen to me before I went to court, is because I’m not with you or sleeping with you, “Kim’s son is not going to get more than my son because of that”. That was some b*tchassness. Because if you could come and stay here and pop in and out when you wanted to then it wouldn’t be a problem. So you are not going to put me at a disadvantage because we are really broken up and I’ve moved on.
On whether she thinks Diddy is bitter over their break up
Yes, he still is bitter. It’s like can I live. I have love for him and he’s my family and I’m going to always support him and have his back. But, when you can have everything sometimes and you can’t have that one little thing, you are not use to that. That’s so over. I’m not saying he’s actively trying to pursue me but I get a hard time sometimes. It’s like “what’s the problem”? You’d think I’d be the one acting like that. I stay out of your way.

A contest to determine which marijuana growers have the “best product” is set to kick off.
Dubbed the “Cannabis Crown 2010” the marijuana contest takes place in Aspen, Colorado.
Medical marijuana planters will enter into the contest to test who has the best strain of the herb.
The strains will be tested for their THC levels and growers will be allowed to sell to medical marijuana patients.
The happy customers can they vote on the best strain of marijuana and crown “the peoples’ choice.”
The contest takes place this spring.

Man Plotting Terror Attack On Military Base Arrested…
A 43-year-old man was arrested Monday after police found him with a number of high powered weapons and a map of a U.S. military base in New Jersey.
Police subdued Lloyd R. Woodson after a store clerk at a local convenience store reported that he was acting erratically.
When police came on the scene, Woodson fled into the woods where police chased him down.They discovered that he was wearing a bullet proof vest and carrying a high power assault rifle tucked under his coat.
After searching his hotel room they also discovered a second assault rifle, a grenade launcher, a police scanner, another bulletproof vest, a night vision scope, hundreds of rounds of ammunition and a map of a U.S. military base.
There is speculation that he was planning a terror attack on a New Jersey military base.
He is facing multiple weapons charges.
SMH…what is wrong with these people?
