METH SPEAKS ABOUT ARREST……

method_man_2

Rapper Clifford “Method Man” Smith has broken his silence on his arrest earlier this week for tax evasion charges and said he has “learned” his lesson.

Speaking with radio personality Big Tigger, Mef jokingly admitted to not staying up-to-date with his tax accountant.

“You know, when you don’t file [your taxes], that’s what happens,” Mef explained. “So that’s the lesson I learned. I think it was four years and after three years that’s when it’s a problem. It’s not a money thing because I paid it when they did that thing with the truck and contrary to everyone’s belief, the truck wasn’t repossessed. It’s different when the government comes and takes a truck, they want their money. I took the black people route. I took the ghetto route. [laughs] But you know, you can’t be waiting ’til the last minute and stuff like that. If it’s not right there in your face, then these things happen…It’s my fault totally. I just don’t like things to get blown outta portion and I’m glad that you gave me the option to speak my peace…The government is not playing, Uncle Sam pimp slapped me and it’s a lesson learned and I’m gonna take this and learn from it. Everybody [in jail] was cool, I live in Staten Island so it was nothing.” (Live In The Den)

Pharrell Adds Female Singer To N.E.R.D.

rhea06

Pharrell Williams has confirmed the new addition of female singer Rhea to his rap-rock group  N.E.R.D. and explained why he decided to seek out a fourth member.

According to Williams, the songbird will add an extra element he has been missing from the group’s sound.

“Musically, we’re just somewhere else [with her],” Pharrell said in an interview. “The music is now very 3-D. It’s something you have to hear. But you’ll see. We’re definitely somewhere else. I want to leave that impact moment for when you purchase your download and you purchase your CD. The music is very three-dimensional. We’re just really excited. We feel like N.E.R.D. has always been the punks of hip-hop and the outcasts of alternative music — just a little different. But this time, we’re taking no prisoners…Now you have this little Tinkerbell that’s just stepped in and has been amazing…It’s made it a fun process. We can go in so many more directions, because we have the vocal support.” (MTV)

Fabolous Clarifies Recent Remarks, “I’m Not Against 50 Cent”

fabolous

After 50 Cent publicly responded to Fabolous‘ tweets about about the This Is 50 Fest, the New York rapper has clarified his comments and said he was merely sharing an opinion.

“The only thing I really don’t like about Twitter is a lot of what you say can be taken out of context,” Fab said in a statement. “If you say something now, the way the media is, if you include somebody’s name it in it becomes a big web and big blog interest…The kind of artist he was when he started he was almost totally against that. He isolated himself and G-Unit, and even attacked other people, and had beefs with other people, mainly other New York rappers. A lot of people feel like he helped crumble New York Rap because he changed people’s perspectives, changed people’s situations. He was incredibly successful. He had the power of King Kong and they were not as successful and they were kind of at his mercy… “He was able to shift his weight around due to the money he made and the money he was making and I think that he did that. I seen the concert pictures on-line and it looked a little different, a little weird to me. I’m not against 50. I didn’t say it in a beef way. Certain people were already throwing up blogs to create rivalries between different people, commenting and it was really taken out of context. That was just a random thought of mine…” (Hip Hop DX)

Fat Joe Thanks 50 Cent For “J.O.S.E. II” Promo

eis2_5

Fat Joe has responded to 50 Cent‘s recent attacks on his new album, J.O.S.E. Part II, and said the G-Unit leader helped promote the project better than his record label.

“I’ve realized something really, that, he’s my number one fan and really loves Fat Joe,” Joey told radio personality Angie Martinez. “I’m really tuned in to that, I really came to that realization that he’s my number one fan because I’m a little upset at the label, I felt we could have did way more promotions, but if you didn’t know Fat Joe’s album was coming out today, I think he said, ‘Yo, my man Joe needs this little bit of promotion man, like he’s so much of a formidable opponent, that you know, I gotta keep this guy around, I gotta go promote his new album.’ Absolutely. Promotions. Nah, thank-you 50, man, major promotions, you really bigged me up. Nobody was thinking about me before that, thank-you, I love you. J.O.S.E. II in stores right now.” (Hot 97)

49ers End Michael Crabtree Holdout, Sign Receiver To 6-Year Deal

michael-crabtree-and-his-dumbass-cousin

The Michael Crabtree saga is over.

The 49ers confirmed the signing of the 10th overall draft pick to the Santa Rosa Press Democrat on early Wednesday morning after a 71-day holdout.

The paper reported Crabtree should be at practice on Wednesday. The contract is for six years.

Former Jets and Chiefs coach Herm Edwards said the 49ers, currently 3-1 and in first place in the NFC West, could really benefit if Crabtree is ready to contribute.

“If this guy can play like everyone expects him to play, the 49ers are the best team in that division,” Edwards said in an appearance on ESPN this morning.

Crabtree went to San Francisco on Tuesday and began negotiating with 49ers officials after a month-long standoff. His advisors had suggested Crabtree would sit out the season and re-enter the draft if the 49ers didn’t offer favorable financial terms. — Sean Leahy

Microsoft Launches Windows Mobile 6.5

Microsoft Launches Windows Mobile 6.5

This morning, Microsoft launched the first major upgrade to its mobile-phone software since 2007′s mediocre Windows Mobile 6, which offered few upgrades from 2005′s Windows Mobile 5. In that time, the smartphone universe has been upended by such gadgets as Apple’s iPhone, Google Android-powered devices, and Palm’s Pre – -and Windows Mobile has started showing its age. Badly.

HTCPureATT_web.jpg

Windows Mobile 6.5, which had its public debut in February, attempts to catch up with those competitors. It includes an updated Internet Explorer browser that can present full-sized pages with their looks and functions intact, a simpler program-management screen, a My Phone online-backup service, and — perhaps most important in the long term — Windows Marketplace for Mobile, intended to match Apple’s App Store, Google’s Android Market and Palm’s App Catalog in providing simple browsing and installation of add-on software.

But although programmers have been writing software for Microsoft’s mobile-phone operating systems for more than a decade — last month, Windows Mobile product manager Greg Sullivan said more than 20,000 Win Mobile apps were available — the Marketplace features only a tiny subset of that selection: 246 programs, according to Microsoft’s press release.

In the U.S., AT&T Wireless, Sprint and Verizon Wireless now sell or will soon offer Win Mobile 6.5 phones from manufacturers HTC and Samsung. I’m trying out AT&T’s HTC Pure (pictured here), although you’ll have to wait until this weekend’s column to see my take on that device and another new smartphone I’ve been looking forward to testing, Sprint’s Android HTC Hero.

Browns Trade Braylon Edwards To Jets

bray03

Braylon Edwards was fighting mad Sunday, exchanging a few blows with one of Cincinnati’s massive defensive linemen.

Later, Cleveland’s contentious wide receiver allegedly took a swing at someone much smaller but with a towering, more famous friend: LeBron James.

And the King isn’t happy about it.

James called Edwards “childish” for allegedly punching his friend early Monday morning following an argument outside a Cleveland night club. The Cavaliers superstar said Edwards punched his friend, Edward Givens, a promoter who was working outside the club around 2:30 a.m. EDT.

“I’ve never crossed paths with Braylon before, but it seems like there’s a little jealousy going on with Braylon and me and my friends. I have no idea why. I’ve never said anything to Braylon at all. But for him to do that is very childish. My friend is 130 pounds. Seriously. It’s like hitting one of my kids. It doesn’t make sense.

– LeBron James

THIS IS WHAT HAPPENS TO YOU AFTER CROSSING KING JAMES…

The Browns have traded receiver Braylon Edwards to the Jets for a package of players.

Cleveland will receive WR Chansi Stuckey, LB Jason Trusnik and undisclosed draft picks from New York.

Former Jets and Chiefs coach Herm Edwards, now an ESPN analyst, said the acquisition could benefit Jets rookie QB Mark Sanchez.

Tila Tequila Blogs: She Is Not Suicidal

Shot-at-Love-Tila-Tequila-01

I just wanted to take a moment to address all of my fans and the people I care about regarding my recent public suicidal meltdown online. I don’t usually issue statements to address rumors, but since Suicide is a very serious subject, I felt that it is my responsibility to come clean and speak out about it, as emotional and personal as it is. I feel like it is still my duty to take responsibility for my own actions. Sometimes I tend to forget that I am a public figure and with that, comes a lot of responsibility and suicide is not the type of message I want to send out. I always want to make sure that I am sending out positive messages so I felt that it’s important for me to speak up this time. If I continue to ignore this and pretend as though it never happened, then I failed myself and my fans. This is not one of my proudest moments to be sitting here and explaining to the world something so emotional and personal, but I need to stop being selfish. This is not one of my proudest moments to share with the world, but maybe it can help save someone else’s life who ends up reading this.

Recently I was involved in a highly publicized case of Domestic Violence, and I have never really spoken out about it. I do not want to bring this up again, however it has been a very difficult situation for me. Not being able to speak to people about it in public, and having to pretend to move on (with life) as though nothing ever happened, has taken a heavy toll on me, physically, as well as mentally. It has been a tough recovery process and I try to take it all in day by day because dealing with all of this in the public eye, and getting scrutinized by the media can be very hurtful. I have tried my best to stay strong and try to move on with my life, but because of the post traumatic stress that I have suffered from that incident, and the tremendous amount of pressure from the media scrutiny, I finally had a public meltdown. For one person to have to deal with the weight of the world on her shoulders, it’s not as easy as one may think.

I didn’t allow myself time to fully recover and take it easy. I kept pushing and pushing myself until I became mentally exhausted. On the outside I would put on a smile so that my fans and family wouldn’t worry about me, but on the inside, I was falling apart. I didn’t give myself a chance to rely on anyone for emotional support and therefor, I became isolated. So I just want to say that I am very sorry if I worried my fans and all of the people close to me, because the last thing I want to do is hurt them or send out the wrong message. I have been seeking medical attention because I know that the little girl inside of me still has a lot to live for. I am slowly, but surely, picking up all of the broken pieces and trying to put it all back together again.

All deep wounds take a lot of time to heal, but most importantly, it takes strength and courage. I just want to let you all know that I very much appreciate all of your love, support and prayers. Sometimes people tend to forget that “celebrities” are humans too, and every once in a while, we tend to have a meltdown. Luckily for me, I am now surrounded with all of my friends and family who are showing me a lot of support. I am a bit embarrassed and ashamed that the whole world witnessed my very public meltdown about being suicidal, but at the same time, I know that I shouldn’t be. I believe that it was God’s way of trying to help me because it is not my time to die. Had I not spoken out for help, my loved ones would not have seen my cry for help, and I probably wouldn’t be alive today to write this letter to you. Had I not done what I did that night, I most definitely would have made the biggest mistake of my life, that I can never undo…..

With that said, what I have learned from this is that life is such a precious thing and we must not take it for granted! The fact that I am still alive today, to be able to wake up and see what the world has to offer me, I have never appreciated a day more than today!

So for everyone else out there who feels suicidal for whatever reason, please know that there’s nothing in life so bad that it’s worth taking your own life. Just know that you are not alone and no matter how bad things seem to get, things can only get better…you just have to have faith and stay strong. If I can survive this, then so can you! God put us all here, every single one of us for a reason….and you just have to ride it out. Suicide is not the answer. It is a cowards way of giving up. Choose life because you have the power to change it! You have the power to write out your own happy ending in the story that you are living to tell. We all must remember that tomorrow comes after the dark, and everyday is a new day! After the storm passes the Sun will always be there to shine on you once again! We have only one life to live, so why not give it a try? It takes a stronger person to fight through the hard times, then take the easy way out!!!! DON’T DO IT!!!!!!!!! God Bless!”

Sincerely,

Tila

Would You Date A Woman With Ugly Feet?

BeyonceToezCloseUp

BEYONCE FEET

I would like to think of myself as a pretty sensible guy, when it comes down to dating. I don’t discriminate. I serve’em all Short, tall, thick, chubby but not too chubby (fat). Unless it’s a drought then a brother gotta do what a brother gotta do. You know how the saying goes “extreme times call for extreme measures”.

However, just recently…. I realized that am not as reasonable as I would like to believe. I can’t seem to get over the “ugly feet hitch”. Wait! Before you start dogging me and screaming how bad of a guy I am.

UGLYTOES
I honestly gave it a shot. Recently I was dating a young lady. Everything was in order. Her body was bangin, but her feet looked like she walked through hell (literally).

Looking down at her feet, I was not only turn-off. I would actually get sick… Not to mention for some odd reason she love wearing open toe shoes. This gave me even more reason to pull the plug and pass her the “walking papers”.

My question is this. Am I the only guy that feels this way?

Would you date a woman with ugly a$$ feet?

UPDATE: Shyne Being Held By Immigration Officials, Faces Possible Deportation

sq-serious-clinton-intv-mtv

Rapper Jamal “Shyne” Barrow is reportedly being held by immigration officials and is facing possible deportation.

His release is now under review, as representatives for the rapper revealed that the Brooklyn MC is being detained by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement at an unspecified facility in Western New York State. Officials are determining whether or not to deport the rapper, who was born in Belize, a rep explained. “Shyne is currently in federal custody while his future immigration status is determined,” the rep said in a message to MTV News. Shyne attorney Oscar Michelen emphasized to MTV News on Tuesday afternoon that Shyne has not been released, contrary to media reports. (MTV)

Update: It’s just been confirmed that Shyne IS being deported back to Belize (his hometown) on Friday, October 7. Though Shyne is finally being released after serving 8 years, the former Bad Boy recording artist will not set foot on U.S. soil.

In what started out as a triumphant and joyous occasion, has now been put on hold until further notice. Former Bad Boy recording artist, Shyne was scheduled to be released from jail today after serving (he basically took the rap for Diddy) an 8 year jail bid for his involvement in a 2001 NYC club shooting incident.

Young Gunz To Reunite W/ New Record Deal, “It’s A Toss Up Between Roc Nation & Interscope”

young-gunz

State Property‘s Young Chris and Young Neef recently announced plans to drop a third group project together and discussed the possibility of signing to Jay-Z‘s Roc Nation imprint.

“Paper work is everything, so due to the split up with Def Jam, it’s taken longer for the deal to happen,” Chris said in an interview about their third group project. “Right now we have a deal on the table and it’s a toss up between Roc Nation and Interscope… Wherever I go Jay-Z and Mark Ronson are executive producing it together. So that’s a great balance.

“A lot of people come in this game and they get put together,” Neef added. “We came up from nothing to something. That’s really my brother from another. Right after Chris, we are going to get to Tough Luv 2 and give the fans that Young Gunz. We are just giving the people what they want.” (VIBE)
